Can I receive a notification when my Shelly device goes offline or loses power?


Yes, but offline notifications are available only for users with an active Premium subscription in the Shelly Smart Control app. 


Can I create a scene that sends a notification when a device is offline?


No. Standard cloud scenes are not intended to trigger only because a device becomes offline or loses power. If the device has no power or no connection, it cannot send a normal event to trigger a scene.


How can I get notified if there is a power outage?


To receive an offline notification when a Shelly device becomes unavailable, you need to enable this feature from the device's settings: 



Will this work if the device has no power?


Yes, the notification is triggered when the cloud detects that the device has gone offline. However, the feature is available only with Premium.


*Please note that offline notifications may not be delivered immediately. The cloud must first detect and confirm that the device is no longer reachable, so a short delay before receiving the notification is expected.*
