Dear users,

If your Shelly Gen4 device is currently running firmware version 1.6.0-beta1, please be aware that switching between Matter ↔ Zigbee ↔ Matter firmware is currently not possible.

Although the option to switch firmware appears in the local web interface under Settings → Firmware → Alternative firmware, it is currently non-functional due to a technical issue.

The button-based switching method (Matter ↔ Zigbee ↔ Matter) is also not working in this version.

A fix for this issue is expected soon with the release of firmware version 1.6.0-beta3.

If your device is still running the factory firmware version 1.5.99, you can continue switching between the firmware versions using the button interactions described in the user manual.
